Chris wrote the words for this as a poem for me, when I was trying to pull myself out of the mess of my divorce.

Some people can sail away without a backward glance to those left weeping at the dock.

But sometimes a better ship sails in to the quayside shortly after...

THE ONLY WAVE

The ship has sailed, that's all they've said,
And left me here watching ripples on the shore.
All that I have for all I've paid,
A ticket that means nothing anymore

The tide has turned, the ship has sailed,
No parting words, you barely said goodbye,
The only wave is on the water.

You booked your place without me knowing,
You left your clothes, your cares and me behind,
And now the distance it is growing,
What's out of sight is out of mind,
